What Milli reads from Oura
Your ring already gathers the signals. Milli helps them make sense.
With your permission, Milli connects to the Oura API and reads the data you choose to share. She never writes to or changes anything in your Oura account — it's read-only. Here's what she can work with:
Total sleep, stages (deep, REM, light), efficiency, latency, timing, and restfulness — so a rough night becomes context, not a mystery.
Your daily readiness score and its contributors — recovery, sleep balance, body temperature, resting heart rate, and HRV balance.
Steps, active calories, activity score, training frequency, and inactive time — the movement side of the story.
Resting and daytime heart rate, plus overnight heart-rate variability — useful clues about stress and recovery over time.
Nightly skin-temperature deviation from your baseline and average overnight blood-oxygen — patterns worth noticing, never a diagnosis.
Logged workouts, guided sessions, and the tags and notes you add — context Milli can connect to how you actually felt.
Milli requests only the Oura data scopes you approve and reads them through Oura's official API. She can't change your ring, your goals, or your Oura account.
How Milli uses it
Numbers in. Plain language out.
Milli doesn't just mirror your Oura dashboard back at you. She connects it to your routines, symptoms, and care plan, then explains what might be worth noticing — and shows exactly what she used.
“Why do I feel off today?”
Your readiness dipped two mornings in a row — mostly lower overnight HRV and a later bedtime after a short night. Activity is steady, so this looks like a recovery dip, not a slump. A quieter, smaller day wouldn't be the worst idea.
“Want me to shrink today's plan, or just keep an eye on it?”
Shown for awareness and education. Milli does not diagnose. For anything that worries you, talk to a clinician who knows your history.
What Milli used
“Your evening walks line up with a lower resting heart rate this week. Your heart appears to enjoy the walk propaganda.”
“Readiness is back up after two solid nights. Tiny win, well-earned. I am politely proud.”
“Your temperature has run above baseline for a few nights. Worth noticing — want me to help you write a note for your clinician?”
You stay in control
Your ring. Your data. Your call.
Connecting Oura should feel safe, not like signing your body over to an app. Here's how it works.
